The incredible movements of Flying Deltoid will mesmerize you! This Great Ball Contraction module designed by CK Ang is an awesome ball machine with crazy rotations. Its main mechanism is inspired by the GBC module Cycloid Drive, from Akiyuki: the three-spoke main wheel in the center of the machine rotates under the constraint of a frame made with four banana-shaped LEGO Technic parts. The hooks located at the end of each of the branches catch the GBC balls and deposit them onto an exit ramp after a full turn of the wheel. The ball separator mechanism is also extremely well thought out. You can now reproduce this LEGO GBC thanks to free building instructions designed by Jude Wright and available from Planet GBC.
