“GBC 50 – Tow Lift” from PV-Productions came out, and if you own the LEGO Technic set “Heavy-duty Tow Truck” (ref 42128), the good news is that you already have all the parts required to build it ! This super cool LEGO Great Ball Contraption module works in closed loop and features several very interesting mechanisms. A first look at the module highlights instantly the huge rotating wheel whose arms are sustaining pivoting buckets. Your GBC balls can then do a ride on this massive wheel, the inclination of which can be by the way customized pneumatically. Another fun element from the build is the elevating ramp. It uses the ropes included in the original LEGO kit, allowing the balls to reach the top of the module. From the top, they can slide down the ramps and through a funnel (not included in the LEGO kit, but optional). This module is perfect to get started on LEGO GBC with kids.
