Jean Marc Detraz, aka Legomotive, a LEGO Great Ball Contraption builder

Jean-Marc Détraz

Jean-Marc Detraz, also known as Legomotive, is a LEGO Great Ball Contraption builder from Canada. He is one of the pioneers of the LEGO GBC as he started the GBC in 2003, participating in the Brickfest in Arlington, where he won the trophy for the most extreme GBC module (with a module that can eject minifigs). Jean-Marc has created about fifty different modules over the years of which certain are still operational. He also likes to copy the modules of some of his Canadian colleagues (with whom he still participates in GBC exhibitions) or those of major international GBC builders. This allows him to make the mechanisms of his own creations more reliable and helps him to create more complex models. Jean-Marc has recently opened his YouTube channel where he shares his numerous creations, legacy or new. Feel free to come visit anytime
