A cycloidal drive is a mechanism for reducing the speed of an input shaft by a certain ratio. Akiyuki’s Cycloidal Drive module is an impressive representation in Lego of such mechanism. This massive module has mesmerizing moves and will quickly carry your balls to their target destination. A crazy building!

I found that the rotating part of this model was heavy and by design kind of loose and floppy which caused some balls to drop. I have corrected the problem by adding a blue technic axle pin with friction ridges part number 43093 and a red technic ball part number 53585 to the back side of the gray barrel that squeezes into the yellow guides. WaLa! problem fixed and everything is more stable now.
