Classic Marble Pump module from ALittleSlow is the proof you can build nice GBC module with a minimum of Lego Technic® bricks. The principle of this module is quite simple: balls are pushed and stacked in a vertical chimney. Along the filling of this chimney, balls are rising up and reach a tiny ramp at the top which bring them to their final destination.

Thanks for publishing this, but I would not recommend this module anymore. There are better pumps out there, and this one has a tendency to explode. Fine for learning–terrible for shows.
