The Strandbeest GBC Module is another collaboration project between Josh DaVid and PV-Productions. This module works in closed loop. However, it is possible to split the module and to connect it to another GBC Module. For this module, Josh DaVid and PV-Productions were inspired by the famous Dutch designer Theo Jansen and his Strandbeest creations. This clever mechanism creates a complex but smooth walking motion by combining multiple triangular constructions having same lengths and dimensions. Anoher mechanical ball supply mechanism feed the first mechanical arm ball per ball. Two rotating pins are installed in the input box to prevent balls from jamming. — Description provided by PV-Productions – thanks to him —
