The Old Chain and Chairs Christmas Conveyor Belt is a LEGO GBC module designed by mickthebricker. The special thing about this module is that it combines Lego chairs with quite rare classic gears and chain links from the 1970s. The module consist of three moving parts: A single stepper, a Christmas tree and a conveyor belt. The single stepper loads up to five GBC balls from the inbox onto a small ramp. The Christmas tree then feeds the conveyer belt. The most challenging task for Mick was to synchronize the Samsonite gears (15 cogs) with today’s gears and especially with the turning tree. Loading the balls on the chairs works remarkably smooth and reliable; the balls are kept perfectly by the chair’s backs and their two studs. This LEGO Great Ball contraption module reminds of Christmas gifts and is decorated with a bowl filled with candies to make you feel happy and some very healthy (GBC) oranges for cold winter days. A must-see vintage GBC.
