Hi Jose,
My 6 yo son and I had the same problem! We built this module just a few weeks ago as well. I found that you will need to adjust one of the large gears by one or two teeth in one direction to stop it from shooting out. It is trial and error. I adjusted one way and they shot up even higher. I adjusted the other way and it was perfect!

Amazing! Me snd my 6 yo daugther assembled this. But for our surprise, the ball is launched to the air above. It is not being conducted out of module as on video show. I used exactly the same gears. It’s mandatory use the speed regulator fo the motor? I haven’t yet.
