LEGO Automaton - Tiki Madness - from LEGObrickBaron | Planet GBC

Tiki Madness

Tiki Madness is a colourful and funny LEGO automaton from Paul Hetherington, aka LegoBrickBaron. This really massive LEGO build is, as its creator qualifies it, a “tropical oasis of summer fun and cautionary tales”. It features several wacky characters and minifigs, as well as several iconic Tiki objects like statues, masks and torches (inspired from the culture coming from the tropical islands from South Pacific). This LEGO automaton is full of nice inner mechanisms giving motion and life to the scene: the tongue and the mesmerizing rotating eyes from the giant Tiki mask in the middle of the build, the drunk pirate captain on top of the build, the small Tiki gods playing Ukulele or moving a giant straw… are all moving and eye-catching details that will fascinate you. Be sure to check out this automaton in video on LegoBrickBaron’s YouTube channel.
