Soccer balls on the left, basket balls on the right. “Fast ball sorting robot” is an Akiyuki GBC module controlled with Mindstorms EV3 device. It sorts your favorite balls at the speed of light thanks to a very impressive horizontal ramp. You’ll love it.

Does anyone have the EV3 program written in English? I have the module built but I have not been able to get it to run and want to open up the program to do some modifications but its not in a language I know.
Thanks,

for #2&3 check the height of the ball lift and the gripper drop position. If you are hitting the 1×4 tile your gripper axis is dropping too low. The ball lift should be at its highest position when the gripper grabs the balls.
As for #1 I think I am using Mogwai’s code. It works for about 100 balls then waits until I manually clear the current ball on the sensor. I believe the start instructions are A all the way towards the Mindstorms unit, B all the way up, and C all the way up.
I’ve been meaning to work on it so maybe will look at this weekend.

Hello there,
first of all thank you in advance for great GBC model fast ball sorting robot.
I’ve done the complete model exactly as given on instruction.
there are three problems, i’d like to ask you,
1. the robot is not recognizing the balls. I bought the balls from PV-Production web page. (http://pv-productions.com/product/lego-gbc-balls/) orange and white color.
2. the robot hands mostly not gripping the balls. sometimes front 3L axles are hitting the 1×4 tile
3. how should i have to make syncronisation between the gripper movement and the Large servo motor, which is lifting up the colorized ball, movement?
thanks for your cooperation and
again appreciated for great works.
Best wishes
Mustafa
